Detroit pistons Guard Malik Beasley is being investigated by the U.S. District Public Prosecutor’s Office for games, Shams Charania de Espn reported Sunday.
The complaints are related to the bets made to the NBA matches during the 2023-24 season.
“An investigation is not a charge”, Steve Haney, Beasley’s lawyer, told Espn. “Malik has the same right of the presumption of innocence as no one under the United States Constitution. From now on, nothing has been accused.”
