Several people were driven to the hospital after a third -floor porch collapsed in Boston, Friday night.
The incident happened at 10 pm during a great meeting in a multifamily house located at 39 Hardwood St. of Dorchester, CBS News wrote.
The collapse involved the hospitalization of nine people, according to a Boston Fire Brigade Publishes Ax. The injuries went from minors to severe, Boston 25 News reported.
“After the initial collapse, there was a secondary collapse of the material on the cover,” said Rodney Marshall, head of Boston’s operations, according to CBS News. “There was a fridge and other materials on the third floor that collapsed to the secondary collapse. We think it also affected the victims on the ground.”
The incident is investigated by Boston Police, emergency medical services and inspection services.
