The National Meteorological Service published a heat advice at 2:59 AM on Saturday, valid from 11 am until Tuesday at 8 pm for Berkshire County.
The weather service states that “the values of the heat index between 95 and 102 degrees were expected.”
“High temperatures and high humidity can cause heat disease,” adds the weather service.
