When asked why people were worth the rain to protest, “to send a message,” he said, “Because we see that our democracy has real problems.”
He continued: “ We see a president who has become a king and dictator, and we do not see a powerful opposition to defend the trampling of our rights and the trampling of the Constitution that is happening every day with executive orders, with the refusal to obey the orders of the courts, abduction of immigrants, people who are legally here, people who are their children are taken. ”
“We are upset and we are afraid, and we know that the only way, fighting this, is now for people, is to gather.”
The comic Jimmy Kimmel joined a protest in San Francisco with his people, sharing on Instagram why he chose to join the crowd: “A huge, inspirational and yes, peaceful, participation in the southern bay”.
He added: “I met many people who love this country and I still think it is a force for the good. I am grateful to see that so many North -Americans take measures to defend our friends and neighbors, especially my parents.
