Nashua, NH – Entant Connecticut Husky Evan Menzel had a simple RBI in the ninth entry to turn it into his seventh game consecut Westfield Starfires He fell 10-3 in the hands of the Nashua Silver Knights on Saturday night at the Holman Stadium.
Starfires fell 4-12 of the season. The Silver Knights ended with a four-game streak with the victory to reach 7-8 a year.
After a first unmatched entry, the silver knights broke the ice in the second. Nashua won two singles, and a two -basic error in a falling shooting of the starfires sent a silver knight on the plate for the first roll. Nashua took more advantage of the error with a double two shots to get 3-0.
For the first time through the order, Boston College Eagle Ben Williams was the only start to the base with a double in the third, but the starfires could not move forward.
Nathan Pirog won the third start of the season for the starfires, and Keene State Owl did his job by sealing Silver Knights bats in the third, fourth and fifth entry, keeping them without running in these frames.
