The senator continued and his wife “are out of surgery, they are stable” and “a few minutes ago they had been trying to remove the senator underneath the anesthesia.”
Representative Melissa Hortman and her husband Mark also joined the Saturday attack and the couple died. The alleged shooter has been identified as Vance Boelter.
