Brian Wilson, co -founder of the iconic rock band The Beach Boys, has died. He was 82 years old.
Wilson’s death was announced by his family through the musician’s official Instagram On Wednesday, June 11.
“We are bewildered to announce that our beloved Father Brian Wilson has died. We are in a loss of words right now,” the family wrote. “Please respect our privacy at the moment, as our family is hurt. We realize that we are sharing our penalty with the world. Love & Misericòrdia.”
No cause of death was revealed.
The publication was flooded with empathetic comments from fan and musicians.
“The favorite producer and composer of all time. He pushed the limits beyond what anyone before,” said the electronic dissemination of the duo. “Lost by words. We love you Brian. Rest in peace to the biggest.”
Born on June 20, 1942 in Inglewood, California, Wilson formed the Beach Boys in 1961 with his two minor brothers (Dennis and Carl) next to the cousin Mike Love and friend of the school Alan Jardine.
