Walk Bird in Stanley Park

Westfield – A bird walk accessible to the gardens will be held on Sunday, June 15 at the Stanley Park, from 9am to 11pm, this bird promenade is designed for people who like to see birds, but they need an accessible way to walk or roll their wheelchairs.

Martha Kane will direct the group through accessible trails to the park gardens to look for birds. The workshop will meet at the bathrooms near the Woodland Wildflower Garden (park in the large parking area near the Carillon Tower). Wear binocles if you have them. Natural workshops are free.

Close program to the Berkshire Botanical Garden

Stockbridge – Berkshire Botanical Garden presents the next program. Saturday, June 21, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., “Rhubarb and Strawberry Cooking Class”. This classic sweet fruit device is one of the joys of late spring and early summer. Berkshires have a perfect climate for Rhubarb and produces excellent and deeply flavored strawberries. In this class of demonstration, the chef, Miriam Rubin, will make an easy jam of strawberry fridge (without necessary pectin), a delicious Rubarb-Strawberry Galette with a mixed grain crust and a sparkling wine salad in pomegranate molasses.
