Labor Head of David Huert was detained during observation Immigration and customs implementation raids take place in Los Angeles.
Service employees International Union California (Seiu) says his president was injured during Ice raids and calls for his release, NBC4 Los Angeles Reports.
“Seiu California Members call for direct release of our President, David Huerte, which was injured in place of one of the present attacks in Los Angeles. He said medical attention while in custody,” Tia Orr, the CEO of Seiu California.
Mayor Karen Bass He said NBC4 that Huerta scattered the peppers during the incident.

The mayor said he didn’t know why Huerta was detained.
Seiu issued a statement supported by Huert, insisting that “realizing his first amendment the right to be observed and documented by law enforcement”.
