Massachusetts is on a Thursday, which decreased with increasing temperatures, humidity and a dark fire smoke in the air, then with the possibility of storms.
For 23 hours, an air quality alert has been published for some parts of Eastern Massachusetts National Meteorological ServiceAs the smoke of the Canadian wildfires continues to roll. The affected counties include Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk.
The air is considered in the “unhealthy” range for sensitive children and adults, including those with asthma, lung or heart disease and adults. These groups are recommended to limit the activity outdoors on Thursday, the Meteorological Service said.
Temperatures are expected to reach the 90’s throughout the state, with sunny skies, minus the fire smoke sprout – light winds and high humidity.
Rainfall possibilities increase this afternoon, with possible showers from 1pm to East Massachusetts, at 2pm in the center and 16 hours in the western part of the State.
The isolated storms and casualties will also be possible and could continue until the evening, warned the forecasts.
The Meteorological Service said that the temperatures fall until the 60’s and are not expected to be rebounded on the 80’s on Friday.
However, continued moisture will allow more storms to develop throughout the day.
Rain is expected to arrive at Western Massachusetts on the first Friday, possibly before noon, with the possibilities of storms increasing after 14 hours
Massachusetts center should see rain and storms at three in the afternoon, while East Massachusetts can be hit by storms from 2 p.m.
The amounts of rain could total up to half an inch in the center of Massachusetts during Friday, while the east and west can receive up to a quarter of an inch.
The harmful winds and floods are the main concerns of the predictions of these “stronger and slower storms”, with torrential rain pockets causing floods located on the street.
Storms are expected to continue throughout Friday evening and Saturday. The forests are looking at a cold front to lower the temperatures again in the 70’s.
