Sale of plants

Holyoke – Wistariahurst Museum has the monthly sale of floors this June on Saturday, June 14 at 10 am. There are a variety of annuals, evergreen plants, trees and more. You can also request online plants at Wistariahurst.org. Online orders can be collected on Fridays from 9 noon. Wistariahurst plant sales are held at the Museum located on 238 Cabot, Holyoke, MA1040 CABOT. For more information, call 413-322-5660 or email info@wistariahurst.org.

Walk Bird in Stanley Park

Westfield – A bird walk accessible to the gardens will be held on Sunday, June 15 at the Stanley Park, from 9am to 11pm, this bird promenade is designed for people who like to see birds, but they need an accessible way to walk or roll their wheelchairs.

Martha Kane will direct the group through accessible trails to the park gardens to look for birds. The workshop will meet at the bathrooms near the Woodland Wildflower Garden (park in the large parking area near the Carillon Tower). Wear binocles if you have them. Natural workshops are free.

Gardening Workshop

WARE: The next Ware Grange Gardening Workshop, “Succession Planting”, will be held on Wednesday, June 18 at 7 pm at La Grange Hall, at 297 Belchertown Road, in Ware. The presenter will be Roberta Mcquaid, author of the weekly column “In the Garden” for Turley’s publications. Learn to expand the harvest similar and plant successively. We will discuss easy reflections, such as beans and lettuce, as well as a look at tomatoes, peas, broccoli and more, which can also offer new collection in the fall months and less money spent in the grocery store.
