A popular beach in Massachusetts will be closed throughout the summer as a new bathroom of several million dollars is built.
The main beach of the Walden State Reserve Pond will close the 2025 summer season, while construction workers build a bath of $ 6.1 million an advertisement On Friday of the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR).
Another beach in Walden Pond, called Red Cross Beach, will still be open for the summer, but there will be no lifeguards in their designated swimming area. The parking will also be limited to the reservation due to the construction.

Walden Pond attracts about 600,000 visitors a year in its 462 hectares of protected space, according to The Walden Woods project. He became famous through the work of Henry David Thoreau called “Walden” or “Life in the Woods”.
