From TM Madison: In an era where Turki alaleshikh spills millions in boxing, you would think that they would fight fans finally to organize matches they prayed. But instead of delivering fights dreams, promoters continue to feed with harmonized service cards for sessions that match big names fighting opponents for which no one has asked for.
Get the latest card: Caleb and Jermall Charlo plant are both highlighted, but not judge against others. The fans cried that fighting ever from the plant planted hell from Charla many years ago. The construction was there. The tension was real. But instead of using each other, we got two separate fights. And now, with the loss of the plant, we may never see that Means – or at best, I have to wait for years to mean something again.
And that’s not disposable – that happens.
On the same card we had a deontai Wilder and Anthony Joshua on the same card, only for Wilder to lose in Joseph Parker before the match could even tease. Then there was a card with a quick fast Rashidi Ellis and Jaron “Boots” Ennis-Fans was Hip for future calculation. But they fought for separate opponents, and fast lost, killing the buzz. Or consider an event with Theofimo Lopez, Devin Haney and Ryan Garcia all the same evenings, but none of them fought each other. It is planned as historical. He finished forgetful.
This form is exhausting. Promoters Keep stacking cards with recognizable names, hoping that only the old Power will detract from the lack of actual roles, rivalry or risk. But fans see it through it. It is a marketing bait and shifting, and people are tired of playing.
If boxing really wants resources, then it’s in a billion time: stop protecting the records and start fighting that people really want.
Give us an action. Give us a drama. Give us matches that are important.
Because no amount of money or flash cannot cover the card full of missed options.
