Sam Heghan, Outlander, has been praised for his kindness for his actor Jamie Roy.

At the preuella, Roy will portray a young Brian Fraser, the father of Huaghan’s character, Jamie Fraser, in Outlander.

Andrew Whipp, known for his roles in the Shetland and Netflix bodies, performed an older version of Brian Fraser in the original series, which made Roy’s interpretation a new character dam.

The casting decision was partly influenced by the amazing resemblance between Roy and Veget, which is not overlooked by program executives.

Both executive producer Maril Davis and director Jamie Payne pointed out the similarities between Roy and Heaghan “as people.”

Interestingly, Roy’s average name is Brian.

In addition to coincidences, the character Jamie Fraser used ‘Jamie Roy’ as one of his alias in the series to evade danger.

Outlander: Blood of My Blood will deepen the love storm between Brian Fraser and Ellen Mackenzie (portrayed by Harriet Slater), which come from clans contrary to the 17th century Scottish lands.

The series will simultaneously explore the poignant love story of the parents of Claire Fraser (Caitríona Balfe), Henry Beauchamp (Jeremy Irvine) and Julia Moriston (Hermione Corfield), put in the context of World War II.

Starz has suggested that, despite different times, these two love stories are connected, with the trips over time they probably play a role.

Producer Davis acknowledged the challenge of giving the same attention to the two romances, which are described as “passionate” in their ways.

Davis emphasized, “You are not killing your actors as much as we probably killed Caitrioon and Sam in the first seasons.”

Prior to the show, Starz hosts a special panel where Outlander and Blood of My Blood distributions will discuss their respective shows. The event, called The Gathering, is scheduled for June 1 and will provide fans with a look at the new series before the Blood of My Blood premiere.
