Ex -U.S. Open Champion Jim Furyk, underwent a hip replacement surgery in recent months
Former Open to the United States Champion Jim Furyk has spoken candidate for his recovery of hip surgery, revealing that he was struggling to move before submitting to the procedure.
Furyk, 17 times PGA Tour The World Winner and Old number 2 had been competing in the Senior Circuit for the last five years, but they had not played since they hosted their own tournament in October.

On April 15, Furyk underwent a surgery to replace the right hip, and friends and old rivals were excited to see him walking without pain in Muirfield Village on Wednesday before Memorial Tournament.
“I didn’t want to wait too long, but I almost did it,” Furyk said to Golf Digest. “It wasn’t just my hip, but my back hurt me because of it. Obviously I couldn’t play golf as I wanted.”
Furyk aims to return to the PGA Tour champions in late August, in time for Ally Challenge, an event endorsed by its long time sponsor. The tournament will be held at the Warwick Hills Golf and Country Club in Michigan, where Furyk has earned the PGA Tour before.
“Hopefully I will be ready before, but we will see it,” Furyk said. “I have been fighting. It cost me a lot and I just look for a better movement to play the best possible.”
Furyk is preparing for one last half of the Ryder Cup Bethpage Black arrives in September. With the number 18 World Cup, Bradley still in the race to make the team as a player, he could abandon his leadership role if he is qualified.
Furyk, who directed Team USA to the Paris Ryder Cup 2018 and guided them to the victory at the Mont -Real Presidents Cup last year, would be the first option to assume if Bradley had to present it with a brief warning.

Following his appointment in January, Furyk expressed his gratitude: “I am really honored to be chosen as one of Keegan’s vice-chic for the 2025 Ryder Cup.
“In our game there is nothing like the experience of representing the United States in the Ryder Cup.”
“I am excited to work closely with Keegan, which brings incredible passion and leadership as well as webb [Simpson]Brandy [Snedeker] and Kevin [Kisner] To help our team recover the cup this September. “
Bradley emphasized Furyk’s life role, emphasizing: “Having Jim as a member of our leadership team is a huge advantage to move forward.”
