Last year, he was wrapped in a case of domestic violence after a woman accused Peppers of suffocating, hitting his head against a wall and throwing it by a flight of stairs.
Peppers, However, he was then acquitted of the assault and battery charges derived from the incident.
During the media session on Wednesday, Peppers was asked if he had a comment on how he was resolved in January.
“I am glad that it is over and I do what I like to do again,” said Peppers. “It was a learning experience. I learned a lot.”
Peppers had lost seven games after putting on the commissioner’s exempt list after the incident. It was removed from the list on November 25. Due to injuries, he appeared in only two of the five final parties of the patriots.
Asked if he considered this season, with the new main coach Mike Vrabel, and the problem behind him, a new beginning, Peppers said he has the same mentality every year.
“I think every year in the league is a new start,” Peppers responded. “No matter how much you do it, or the evil you do, if you are lucky enough to have the opportunity to sit in one of these seats, year and year, it is more opportunity to prove.
