Enya, the queen of etheric sound landscapes and the vocal layer, has sold more than 75 million albums, but has barely seen in public for more than a decade.
Enya, the inmate queen of dream melodies and vocal magic, has sold 75 million breathtaking albums without ever really entering the light. The Irish singer, who resides in a castle covered with fortified doors and surveillance, has an asteroid and a kind of fish named in his honor, but is still an enigma for the world.
Despite his immense success, Enea has never been for visits, marriage or the typical traps of a pop icon. Its lowest moment can be his confession to the Sun in 2016: “I am a great fan of strictly. I do not know if I could do the program, although I would like to learn the Argentine tango.”
