A long section of the MBTA orange line closed for about four hours Thursday, after a Nor’Easter who caused a strong rain in Massachusetts caused floods along the subway line.
The mbta First report Flood conditions at Roxbury Ruggles Station at 18:50, telling travelers that shuttle buses would replace the ruggles service to Forest Hills, at the end of the line. But at 8.30 pm, the T had closed the service of the orange line between the North Station and Forest Hills.
The shuttle buses replaced the service between Back Bay and Forest Hills in the Jamaica plain, and encouraged pilots to use the green line to replace the service of the center. The T also ran pitchers between Back Bay and Copley.
The regular service between the North Station and the Bay back resumed at 10.20 pm, and the Traffic Agency reported Delay had erased at 11pm
The delays asked some to express their frustration to X.
“Why are you so bad in everything?” wrote a user.
“Do better,” added another.
