Fresh photos and video pictures have appeared online, giving fans a look at the set of the next HBO series based on Harry Potter’s books.
Shared content suggests that production for new adaptation is close to being in full evolution, after the recent network distribution ads. John Lithgow, known for his roles in Third Rock from the Sun and conclave, has been confirmed to be played by Professor Albus Dumbledore.
Janet MCTEER will be added as Professor Minerva McGonagall, Paapapa Essiedu as Severus Snape and Nick Frost as Rubeus Hagrid.
Casting for student figures, including Harry Potter’s lead role, formerly portrayed by Daniel Radcliffe, is still confirmed. However, filtered images and videos give fans a view of the aesthetics of the show, especially its ensembles.
The UNBOXPHD user has begun sharing several photos and videos allegedly showing the ensembles under construction for the new Harry Potter series, reports the mirror that.
In X -shared publications, they say that images represent the ongoing work that will become Privnet Drive, Suburba Street where the young Harry Potter resides with the Dursleys, including his aunt, uncle and cousin before receiving his invitation to Hogwarts.
The images reveal about half a dozen partially built houses, surrounded by scaffolding. It seems that the whole street is being meticulously built from scratch, promising an impressive visual experience for viewers.
Fans should find a bit of comfort in these images, as they indicate that the show is not very dependent on the green screen and special effects to bring their magical world to life.
According to The Watford Observer, original films used a real house in Surrey for the scenes of the Dursley’s residence. Currently, the HBO restart is shooting in Warner Brosos de Leavesden, conveniently near Watford.
