A manufacturer of kitchen apparatus has issued a warning to everyone who stores milk at the fridge door. Is a common practice for households to place milk bottles -Be skimmed with a red upper part, semi -skimmed with a green upper or whole milk with a blue upper part, at the door of the fridge to cool -especially considering how those delicate bottles of milk can be filtered when putting.
However, according to Kitchen Appliance Beko’s company experts, storing milk at the fridge’s door is actually a bad choice and it will cost you money in wasted milk. Beko estimates that households take hundreds of dollars for food per person each year or more than a thousand for a family of four.
Salah Sun, Beko Uk Product Management Chief, a leading producer of fridge freezers and other appliances, stated: “The way we organize our frigories can make or break our efforts to reduce food waste.

“Most people do not realize that the poor organization of the fridge is not just aesthetics; it directly affects food longevity and home budget.”
Experts suggest creating designated areas in the fridge as a solution to make food last longer. Sun elaborates: “The temperature fluctuates in the fridge, so the storage of the right areas is crucial.
“The lower shelf, being the coldest, is perfect for raw meats, while the average shelves maintain ideal dairy conditions and prepared foods.
“The door, which is often used for milk, is actually the warmest area due to frequent openness.
“We recommend maintaining more stable items such as seasonings and drinks in the door compartments, moving milk to the middle shelving where temperatures remain more constant.”
But there is more things in the proper organization of the fridge than simply reduce waste.
“When you can see and access -everything easily, you are more likely to cook at home and make healthier decisions,” says Sun.
“In addition, maintaining ideal storage conditions means that your fresh produce is kept cooler, reducing both waste and the number of trips to the grocery store.”
