A Housatonic man was convicted of rape by a jury of the Berkshire County Supreme Court on Friday.
Timothy Formel, 35, was convicted of violating a woman in the early hours of May 26, 2018 in New Marlborough.
Berkshire district district prosecutor, Timothy J. Shugrue, congratulated the woman on testimony, according to a statement.
Formel will be convicted of Wednesday.
The case was investigated by the Berkshire State Police Detective Unit assigned to the District Prosecutor’s Office.
