Boston: Instant reactions from Earn 6-1 for the Red Sox (18-16) In which sad Casas moved away after suffering what could be a serious injury to the left leg:
1) Apart from Friday night’s story is Casas, which seems to have re -directed a prolonged absence due to injury. It was difficult to say exactly what happened as part of the Gnarly collision that sent him out of the game -an ambulance on a stretcher -in the second post, but the fact that he could not get up on his own, as well as his body language made it look like he was very worried about what happened. The tests will probably continue early in the morning.
2) Red Sox needed someone sinking like their clear first number 2 behind Garrett Crochet from the beginning of the season and Walker’s shoulder injury Buehler It only makes this need more sharp. The fact that Brayan Bello, which allowed a four -time race and got five in 6 tickets, has been very strong in his first three outings in 2025 is a very good sign for Boston. If this is the year that Bello joins everything, the Red Sox could have one of the best punches 1-2 at the top of their rotation in the big leagues.
Bello, who debuted the season on April 22, now has a 2.55 to 17 ⅔ tickets to start the year. The only glance Friday was a rocket Ryan Jeffers Homer on the third. He got a good ovation from the multitude of Fenway when he left.
3) The game changed completely when the twins replaced the headline Joe Ryan and headed for their bag.
Ryan, as it seems that he is often against the Red Sox, was just as dominant as Bello. One of the most underestimated arms of the large leagues, the right kept the Red Sox to a single four -stroke race while hitting eight batters in six entries. When he left, it was a 1-1 game.
Then the Avalanche came for the offense of Boston, which had more than double the number of hits they made in six tickets against Ryan in the last two frames against three minnesota lifeguards (Louis Varland, Danny Coulombe and Jorge Alcala). The final end? Five runs and nine successes in the seventh and eighth combined.
4) The Red Sox learned, once again, the value of putting the ball into play in a seventh united entry. After Connor Wong and David Hamilton came to Softles out of Varland to lead things, Ceddanne Rafaela put two men in a marker position for the top of the order with a sacrifice. The hard Lefty Coulombe struck Jarren Duran and reached two strikes to Rafael before the slug passed a hop of 102.8 mph in the second base hole. Edouard Julien could not correct him, and the two races scored to break a 1-1 tie and give Boston leadership for good.
5) After two brutal nights to the north of the border, Boston’s bullpen was again in charge of keeping in a small lead. This time, with a distribution of slightly different characters, they did. Greg Weissert worked around a single in an eighth go in a two -way game, and Alex Cora was planning to resort to Aroldis Chapman for the ninth. The SOX then marked the eighth, Chapman sat and Liam Hendriks entered the door closing with a five -time lead.
6) Alex Bregman still has to be refreshed. After an excellent series in Toronto, he returned to Fenway with a punch, giving Bello and the Red Sox an instantaneous advantage by 1-0 with an explosion to leave Joe Ryan. This is his third Fenway Homer of the year. It seems that there would be much more to come. Added a double later to the match.
7) Romy Gonzalez could find it a lot of playing if Casas has to waste a significant time, as expected. He got a rhythm with a double RBI that provided eighth insurance, then stole quickly and scored. The Red Sox were 4 for 4 bases against Jeffers.
8) Hamilton came in at night only 3 by 33 (.091) to start the season, then he went out to his first bat. In an effort to create an instant offense outside the 8th place, Hamilton succeeded with a blow out of the fifth, and then stole the second and third. The Red Sox could not enter it, but it was worth doing. A couple of Rafaela entrances were more shocking.
Hamilton then had real hits in his next two bat-bat, including a double wall balls to make it a game of 5-1 (and is no longer a savings situation) at the end of the eighth.
9) Bello published a quality start and was the sixth exit followed by a Red Sox starter. You believe it or not, this is the longest quality streak for Boston staff since 2017 (8).
10) With Walker Buhler on the injury list due to shoulder bursitisThe Red Sox will become the Rookie Dobbins Hunter (2-0, 2.45 era) in the middle game of the Saturday series. The twins will send to Bailey Ober (3-1, 4.13 was) in the mound. The first launch is at 16:10 ET.
Wait for the Red Sox to make a classification movement to replace Casas sometime before the game.
