World number one Scottie Scheffler Shot opening 61 as he opened a two-stroke cartridge in CJ Cup Byron Nelson Tournament in Texas.
Scheffler Orkao is the ninth to go out at 29 after four consecutive birds from the third. He added that three birds returned home, including the last two holes as he reached the 10-underground.
American leads from Rico Hoey Philippines and Venezuelan Jhonattan Vegas with Texan Cameron Champ, which is a late replacement after the withdrawal of Gary Woodland, among the large group on the seven-underground.
“I played nicely today,” Scheffler said. “He had a good Front nine and managed to compose and solid back nine.
“I hit some good shots to start a circle, I gave myself a look and I was able to use the good iron Šutira to three and hit another iron four.
Scheffler won nine times last season, including the other master header and the gold medal in Paris, but still has to taste the win 2025. Years after the start of the season was gone.
“There are three more tournament days. I just focused on going home, rest and prepare for tomorrow,” he said.
