Hoda said, “Okay, I woke up and looked at the calendar and guessing what he said? He said on April 28, and then impacted me … A month today I will launch my new adventure. It’s a month today!”
She continued: “I am very excited and I just wanted to say -I’m bursting and I can’t wait to share it with you and I will give you more details later, Annnnnnd that I need to make my roots! All this happens, a month today.”

Hoda announced that he was leaving the Today program in September 2024.The host program host revealed that he made the decision to leave -to try something new and also focus on his two daughters, Haley and Hope. He adopted Haley in 2017 and Hope in 2019 with his former promenade Joel Schiffman. He admitted that he had children “late in life and deserve a bigger piece of my time.”
