Foxborough – In the second round, an office with some new faces had its first disagreement.
There are a good handful of evaluators with significant voices in the Patriots War room, and it is a new mix this spring.
Eliot Wolf (Player Staff Executive Vice President), Matt Gloh (Director of Player Staff), Camren Williams (Director of University Scouting) and Alonzo Highsmith (Higher Staff Executive) have returned, while Mike Vrabel (Main Coach), John Streicher (VP of Operations and Football Strategy) and Ryan Cowden (VP of Player Staff) are new additions by 2025.

Wolf said that the debate focused on the state of Ohio in Treveyon Henderson, which the patriots ended up drafting and another perspective available at the top of the round.
“Ultimately, one of the players we talked about was drafted, so it did not end important,” said Wolf.
Although Wolf would not share who the other player was, only five were written ahead of Henderson in the second round, so he had to be UCLA LB Carson Schwesinger, Iowa State Wr Jayden Higgins, Carolina S of South Nick Emmanwori, Ohio State Rb which Judkins or Arizona Og Jonah Savaiiinaea.
The patriots ended up selecting Henderson at number 38, though trade offers. It was not seen as one of the most glittering needs of New England in this draft, but Wolf said it was a case of simply taking the best player on the board.
“Exactly,” Wolf said. “It’s a deep draft to back.
