‘Gross incompetence’: At least 3 citizens included in govt. demand to leave U.S.

Another immigration lawyer originally from Massachusetts was said to leave the country by the Department of National Security (DHS), becoming at least the third North -American known to receive the letter last Friday.

Pamela Rioles Saeed, 28, is a lawyer for Goldman & Goldman Immigration Law, a company based in Tucson, Arizona. Saeed was born and raised two North -Americans in Jamaica Plana in Boston and moved to Arizona in 2018.

Saeed received the letter to his e -mail from DHS on April 11, at 12:34 AM, which began with the same vein as the others, “it’s time to leave the United States.”

It was the same day two other immigration lawyers practicing in Boston – Nicole miches and Carmen Bello – He said they received the letter, which they said to the lawyers: “DHS is now exercising their discomfort to terminate probation.”

Saeed provided a copy of the letter to Masslive and said that it is “frustrated” that the government was “so neglected” to send the letters to people who are citizens of the United States. She does not have “plans to get out of the country” or “give more energy than this neglects.”

“This email shows a large incompetence or voluntary indifference of DHS,” Saeed said.

“It only serves to instill in the fear and disorder for those who received it. It does not offer any real warning to anyone because it was sent to Citizens and non -citizens, without taking into account its real immigration status,” he said.

Saeed added that he had not received any government monitoring communication.

On Sunday, DHS said that customs and border protection send warnings about the completion of freedom of freedom for people who do not have a legal state to stay.

Some notifications go to North -Americans in cases where an immigrant provided the federal authorities with an e -mail address of a lawyer, according to the statement.

“You may have sent notices to unwanted recipients,” DHS said.

“CBP is monitoring communications and will address any case case by case,” the statement is called.

Last week, the Trump administration began canceling the probation for migrants who were allowed in the country through the CBP One application since January 2023, the Associated press reported. Although it is unclear how much beneficiaries they would be affected, the government urged the migrants to be self -destroying immediately.

The CBP One application allowed migrants to schedule quotes in the legal ports of entry instead of crossing the border illegally to look for asylum, as NPR.
