The Essex District District Prosecutor’s Office has been identified A body that was taken out of the Merrimack River Last week, as a 71 -year -old Lowell resident, Leon Langlais.
The first to respond discovered the body of Langlais on April 3 after Lawrence’s police received a call about a person on the river around 18.35, according to the district’s prosecutor’s office. The call was from a resident of a nearby apartment building with a view to the river, and they said that they believed that a person was being taken to the river by the stream.
The North Andover Fire Department responded to the call and threw a boat on the river, said the district’s prosecution. At around 7.20 pm, they recovered the water of water langlais somewhere north of the North Andover Amazon installation, probably on the border of Hahill.
The main office of the medical examiner has been responsible for determining the way and the cause of Langlais’s death, according to the district’s prosecution. The investigation into his death continues.
