Westfield – In recognition of his work in suicide prevention, Senator John Velis, received a prize for his leadership in the prevention of suicides during a March ceremony at the State House of the Massachusetts coalition for suicide prevention.
The prize follows years of work dedicated by Velis to strengthen the health resources of behavior, including suicide prevention programs, between the populations of civilians and connected military.
