New York (AP)-Alonso Martínez scored the starting goal in the 68th minute, Julián Fernández added a goal and New York City surpassed the New England Revolution 2-1 Saturday night.
Martinez bounced home to give NYC FC (2-1-1) leadership for the 68th minute. Keaton Parks’ shot from the penalty spot was killed by the extended right hand of the Aljaz Ivacic diving goalkeeper.
