Celtic cult
Longmeadow – Episcopal Church of Sant Andreu, 335 Longmeadow St., the cult of the final Celta will take place on Saturday, March 8 at 5 pm. The theme of worship is “in the desert”. Live music by George Wilson, Celtic Fiddler. The program is free and open to everyone.
Drive through the event
Springfield – Foster Church Memorial, 1791 Wilbraham Road in the sixteen -hectare section, holds an “by car” event for the collection of food donations on Saturday, March 8 from 1pm to 3pm in the later church car park. They will collect non -perishable food for the open footwear emergency closet. All donations are very much appreciated.
Beef dinner and corn cabbage
Ludlow – The Knights of Columbus, Ludlow Chapter 3535, will have its annual beef dinner and cabbage on Saturday, March 8 at 17:30 at the Pastoral Center of the Parish of St Elizabeth, Hubbard Street. Tickets are already on sale and are $ 20 each until March 3 and must be purchased in advance. After March 3, tickets (if available) will be $ 25 each.; You can ask for dinner and will be available on March 8 from 16 to 16:45, also $ 20 each. There will also be entertainment and raffles. Saint Patrick Ninth
Holyoke – The Parish of Saint Jerome, located at Hampden 169 Hollyoke Street, re -organizes a ninth in Saint Patrick from Sunday, March 9, and concludes on Monday, March 17. New priests from all diocese will be serving as celebrators of the masses of Navi. They are all invited to attend. Meeting of the Catholic Women’s Club of March
AGAWAM: The Vice President of the Catholic Club of Women of Agawam, Cecile Fragoso, will be the speaker at the meeting on Monday, March 10 of the club. TRUE JUSTICE DOCUMENTARY
Wilbraham-On Wednesday, March 12 at 18:30, Christ King-Epiphany Church, 758 Main St., will host a vision and discussion of the “True Justice” community, a HBO documentary that follows Bryan Stevenson (author of the book, “Just Mercy”) and the equality of justice struggle to create greater equity in the criminal justice system. The documentary reveals how America was emerging, evolving and continuing to threaten the viewers to face it.
Lya presents Purim Fun
Longmeadow – Purim Fun begins in Lya on Thursday, March 13, with a performance for children at 6.30 pm followed by Megillah Reading at 19:20, a light dairy dinner will be served after Megillah’s reading. There is no charge for this event. The celebration of Purim is open to the entire community.
Purim Fun continues on Friday, March 14, at 11:30 am with a New York dinner in the style of the 80’s. There will be live music, a costume contest and a purim performance of the children attending the Shabbat program in Lya Kids. This program is formed by the important support of the Harold Grinspoon Foundation.

Community meal of March
Holyoke – United Congregational Church of Holyoke, March Community Minar celebrates St. Patrick’s Day in the beef service and collapsed on March 14 at 5 pm, dinner will be followed by a family movie at 6pm, the community lunch is on the second Friday evening of each month at the church on 300 Appleton Street. They are all welcome to attend -and the meal is completely free. The menu changes monthly. Parents must accompany their children.
Hibernian communion breakfast

Church concert
Springfield – The Prats flute quartet returns to South Church on Sunday, March 16, at 3 pm a Celtic celebration with multiple flutes that play different genres of Celtic music, even being attended by a Scottish stomach. Wilbraham – The Church of Wilbraham United at 500 Main St., welcomes the community to Sunday morning services at 10 am on the first Sunday of each month that communion is used with juice and grape juice. After all Sunday services, there is a friendship meeting in the scholarship room. Coffee and other soft drinks are served and they are all welcome. Wilbraham United is a fused congregation of congregational societies and methodists. They celebrate as a congregation that recognizes the traditions and values of both the church united of Christ and the united methodist denominations. Wilbraham United Church is a place where someone in any area of life can feel comfortable. They are committed to serving and sharing their space for the good of the community and the glory of God.
