Springfield, and to think they saw it on Mulberry Street.
Well, it was actually half a kilometer away from Edwards Street, where Dr. Seges fans were the Springfield’s museums for a greeting throughout the day at the Springfield Native to celebrate its 121st anniversary.
The fans, young and old, had the opportunity to give the High Cells to the cat in the hat: one of the most popular characters of the author.
The visitors also visited the amazing world of Dr. Se offices Museum, the only museum dedicated exclusively to Ted Geisel.
The visitors also saw recreations of the art studio and the author’s living room with furniture and art materials that he used in more than 60 books.
The family of Dr. Seges gave hundreds of fun notes and cards to the museum. In addition to Saturday’s interactive exhibition, visitors saw that art, family photographs and letters were never publicly displayed.
