Man injured when ski lift chair falls 20 feet at N.H. resort



A man was injured on Sunday after he fell 20 feet from a ski lift to Attitash Mountain Resort.

At around 12:15 on February 2, a man fell after the chair was in the flying of the bear’s elevator, according to the office of the New Hampshire Fire Marshal.

The testimonies told the Marshal office of the state that the man was aware and walked after the fall. He was taken to the hospital with wounds that cannot endanger his life.

A mechanical failure caused one of the chairs to be evacuated from the cable, the state of the state firefighters said in a statement. He also contacted the lift maker and is helping the investigation.

No other injuries were reported and all the other passengers who were in the elevator normally went down to the top. The elevator closed.
