A 72 -year -old truck driver died after his car arrived on a tree on Wednesday afternoon in Carver.
The accident occurred at about 12:54 pm in Federal Road, said Carver police, firefighters and EMS departments.
The first to respond were able to get the driver, to whom the authorities did not name, out of the vehicle after the fall. The driver was taken to Tobey Hospital in Wareham and was dead at the hospital.
This accident is being investigated.
