A springfield woman dealing with substance use disorder was picked up, taken to a remote location in West Springfield and held at gunpoint before being raped. Her attacker left her there.
Over the past decade, two notorious criminals, a serial rapist and a serial killer, targeted several Springfield women who were either sex workers or drug addicts. They were women who “usually aren’t believed,” Hampden County District Attorney Anthony Gulluni said.
