Donald Trump raged on Truth Social that the US is a “disaster, the laughingstock of the whole world!” in response to the terrorist attacks on Wednesday at New Orleans and Vegasthe second of which saw one of his friends Elon Musk‘s TeslaCybertruck‘s blown up in front of a luxury hotel owned by Trump in Nevada City.
“This is what happens when you have OPEN BORDERS, with weak, ineffective and virtually non-existent leadership,” the president-elect said.
“The DOJ, FBI and Democratic state and local prosecutors have not done their job.
“They are incompetent and corrupt because they have spent all their waking hours illegally attacking their political opponent, ME, instead of focusing on protecting Americans from outside and inside the violent scum who have infiltrated every aspect of our government and our nation itself.”
He continued: “The US is falling apart – a violent erosion of safety, national security and democracy is happening across our nation.”

Republican Rep. Michael Cloud, who can retain Speaker Mike Johnson who met with him today, says he shares concerns that delaying the House Speaker election could also delay passage of Donald Trump’s agenda.
