One person was fatally wounded in a shooting in East Boston on New Year’s Day, according to multiple reports media reports.
The shooting happened around 6:07 p.m. Wednesday in the area of Marion Street in East Boston, said Officer Michael Torigian, a Boston police spokesman. The Boston Globe.
Arriving officers found a person with life-threatening injuries and transported him to a hospital. NBC Boston informed
Boston police could not immediately be reached for information about the shooting early Thursday morning.
At the scene Wednesday, officers blocked off much of Marion Street and could be seen placing evidence markers on the ground, the Globe reported.
