Today marks 54 years since the defeat at Ibrox; in which 66 Rangers fans died.
There was a memorial service outside Ibrox earlier this afternoon, led by Rangers manager Philip Clemens.
This is the current league tableIn case Rangers fans need a warning. Certainly neither, the confusion of Aberdeen’s form of the previous season is gone.
The sauce was seriously weakenedbut they have Rabbi Matondo and Cyriel Dessers in the council, if there is a need to make changes to attack. It turned out that Balogun was not quite fit for the bench.
The Celtics are almost full. Only James Forrest and Odin Holm come out.

The beginning
Happy new year to everyone. If the Old Firm derby is one of the most intense in world football, this 2025 edition has not been completed for some time. Celtic 14 points are clear at the top, impressed in the Champions League, having a proven manager, a fund much higher than anyone in Scotland, and conceding only four goals in 18 league matches this season (scoring 52).
Rangers are on their worst run of the season, having conceded just one (a 1-0 home win over Dundee) of their previous five in all competitions. The truth has always been so; Rangers They contend to win every home game, and this season they have come a long way. There is little time to ‘build a project’ or ‘promise blood faster’. Philip Clement’s manager gave more and more compelling, perhaps unfair circumstances.
To make matters worse, Rangers and Clement have an injury crisis, with James Tavernier, Tom Lawrence, Neraysho Kasanwirjo and John Souttar all sidelined. In one of the more serious injuries of the season, goalkeeper Jack Butland was taken to hospital on Tuesday night after suffering what he described as “significant” internal bleeding in his leg. He is stable and recovering at home, not playing today. Centre-back Leon Balogun is doubtful to be available after picking up a knock 2-2 draw at St. Mirren..
The sun still shines in Glasgow. This fixture usually kicks off at midday, but many of the 50,000 fans will be well prepared and ready to cheer their hearts to an unlikely win. The league does not play much at the table, but the old firm always has much, much more than that. It’s in!
kick-off: 3pm GMT.
