The Boston Bruins and Washington Capitals kick off the New Year’s festivities with a battle in our nation’s capital with a puck drop at 12:30 p.m.
The B’s will face Alex Ovechkin, who recently returned from a stint on IR after fracturing his left fibula on Nov. 18. Ovi returned on December 28 and has scored a goal in each of his two games since returning.
