Max George told fans that he felt a strange feeling in his chest afterwards underwent heart surgery.
The singer of the group Wanted (36) shared news about her health with her fans he implanted a pacemaker for an undiagnosed condition. He was released from the hospital on Christmas Day.
On Tuesday (December 31), the pop star shared an Instagram Story revealing that she has strange feeling in the chest, which doctors failed to identify.
Confirming that he was returning to the hospital for a check-up, George asked if any of his companions had experienced similar symptoms, or knew or had someone else.
“I’m at the hospital tomorrow for another appointment because I got this fluttering feeling on the left side of my chest – I’m actually getting it now – and I was wondering if you might know what it could be or if you’ve experienced it yourself as doctors aren’t too sure,” he said.
“Maybe it’s touching a nerve and it will go away over time or maybe they’ll have to move the wire a little bit, but I’m all ears because all I do is research.”
He concluded: “I know nothing about pacemakers. Any information I could get would be greatly appreciated.”
George recently revealed that he was able to take his first steps outside after the operation, as he posted a photo of himself on a nighttime walk with his dog, Albert.
He also shared a screenshot of his Apple Watch, which shows his heart rate at 85 beats per minute.
“Back on the street… It felt great to have my first few steps outside for a while, especially with my beautiful boyfriend,” he captioned the photos.

George was admitted to hospital in the weeks before Christmas after he began to feel unwell, where it was discovered that he had “some problems” with his heart.
He then had to go through a series of tests to determine what kind of surgery he needed before a pacemaker was implanted.
“While this is a huge shock and no doubt a setback, it’s something I’ll take on with everything I’ve got!” George wrote on Instagram. |I consider myself very fortunate that this was caught when it was.”
The operation lasted about two and a half hours, he explained in a separate post, along with a photo of the new scar above the heart.
“The main question [was] some of my veins collapsed where the wires were supposed to go… But the hospital surgeons, doctors and nurses in the NHS were amazing,” he said. “I owe them everything.”
He also thanked the surgeons for placing his pacemaker under “my very special tattoo… So I’m sure it’s being looked after”.
The tattoo in question is 04/08/1988, the date of birth of his late bandmate Tom Parker, who died aged 33 after being diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour.
