A Massachusetts man believes he was murdered and left in his backyard identified.
Anthony Leverone, 43, of Abington, was pronounced dead Friday.
Officials said a family member of Leverone requested a welfare check. When the police arrived 563 Plymouth St. in Abington, Leverone was found dead in the backyard of the apartment building.
Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy J. Cruz and Abington Police Chief John Bonney said Leverone likely died of blunt force trauma. The death investigation has since been ruled a homicide.
