It is called a 2-year-old dog snow storm he loves to serenade people, according to the Dakin Humane Society, but former neighbors complained about his voice.
Now, the malamute “with a heart as big as his voice” is looking for a new home.
“Like most malamutes, Blizzard loves to sing,” the humane society wrote. “His spirited howls are part of his charm, but they caused his previous owner to surrender him after neighbors complained.”
The 80-pound dog is sweet, playful and loyal, the humane society said. He is kind to everyone he meets and knows how to “sit” and “paw”. It also appears house trained.
“Blizzard learns quickly, listens well and is always ready for fun,” the humane society wrote. “He’s a little shy when he meets new dogs, but he warms up quickly and is eager to play.”

Blizzard has been spending a lot of time outdoors and enjoying it. The humane society believes he would thrive in a home with access to a yard or outdoor space “where he can stretch his legs and enjoy the fresh air.”
“Daily exercise and mental stimulation will help keep him happy and content,” Dakin wrote.
