HOLYOKE — The Local Historic District Commission wants to fill two vacancies.
The board shall consist of three to seven members, appointed by Holyoke Mayor Joshua A. Garcia and confirmed by the City Council. The commission, founded on November 20, 1972, is dedicated to preserving and enhancing the historical and archaeological treasures of the city.
Lauren Niles, chairwoman of the commission, said the panel had not heard back from the architects. Also, the one person who showed interest didn’t follow through.
