4 suspects charged in fatal Worcester shooting of man in parked vehicle



Four people face charges of armed assault with intent to murder in connection with the fatal shooting on December 16 of a 28-year-old man inside his vehicle parked on Dorchester Street, Worcester police announced.

Those responsible for the shooting are Adrián Rodríguez, 33 years old; Dylan Driscoll, 19; Darius Perkins, 20; and an unnamed young man.

Rodriguez, Perkins and the juvenile were arrested Saturday in Fitchburg in an effort that included the U.S. Marshals Service, state police and local police in Fitchburg, Leominster and Worcester, police said. Driscoll was arrested in New Jersey.

Around 2:35 a.m. on Dec. 16, Worcester police responded to Dorchester Street after a man was reportedly shot inside a truck. Officers were flagged down and directed by a person to an unconscious man inside a vehicle.

Officers treated the 28-year-old victim with multiple gunshot wounds, who police have not yet identified. He was taken to hospital where he later died.
