A car crashed into the side of a building in West Newbury on Friday, according to a statement from the West Newbury Fire Department.
Dispatch received the call around 3:45 p.m., and officers found a silver Toyota Highlander that had struck the right side of a building at 290 Main St., the release said.

The driver, a 17-year-old girl who was the only person in the car, was evaluated at the scene.
The building is under renovation and was not occupied at the time of the accident, according to firefighters.
A preliminary investigation led officials to believe poor road conditions due to Friday’s snowy weather were the cause of the crash.
