Alexis ‘Rocha (25-2-1, 16 KOs) fought his way to a non-stop fight to a twelve-round draw that ended in a draw, with Rocha scoring one of the results against Raul Curiel (15-0-1, 13 KOs) in Saturday night at the Toyota Arena in Ontario, California.
Rocha is tied with Curiel, 15-0-1 (13) in the 12-round contest.
In the first four rounds, Rocha had his way, landing to Curiel’s body and head. Curiel had his best round in the seventh round, ending the final minute – and Rocha.
Curiel had his best round in the eighth round and Rocha covered throughout the round. It went back and forth in the ninth and tenth rounds, taking turns getting the better of it.
In the eleventh round, Curiel mostly outplayed Rocha in a close fight. In the twelfth and final round, halfway through, Rocha rocked Kiriel with a left hook to the chin. In the last minute, Curiel finishes the power of the two.
The referee was Ray Corona. Tjhe scores 116-112 Rocha, 114-114 and 114-114.
2016 Junior Middleweight Olympian Charles Conwell (21-0, 16 KOs) stopped southpaw Gerardo Luis Vergara, 20-1, 13 KOs) at 2:51 of the seventh round of the scheduled ten rounds.
In the first two rounds, Conwell won both rounds, overwhelming Vergara to the body. In the third round, both men opened up to the body in a solid round for both, with Vergara bleeding from the mouth.
In the fourth round, Conwell continued to challenge the southpaw Vergara, whose record shows little opposition to the former Olympian. Vergara was finally able to become competitive in the fifth round, although she still lost the round.
In the sixth round, Conwell drew blood from Vergara’s nose. In the seventh round, Conwell landed a dozen unanswered punches, prompting referee Thomas Taylor to wisely order a stoppage.
Former WBA, WBC, WBO super flyweight world champion, 2012 Olympic bronze medalist Marlene Esparza (15-2, 1 KO) defeated former flyweight champion Arlie ‘Ametraladora’ Muccino (32-5-2, 11 KO ) up to ten rounds of decisions.
Thomas Taylor warned Mucin twice that he had pulled Esparza’s head. In the third and fourth rounds, Muccino took both.
In the fifth and sixth rounds, Esparza came back and won both. In the eighth round, both boxers went to the body.
In the ninth round, both men had their moments in an all-action round, with Esparza having the upper hand. In the tenth and final round, Muccino had a strong finish to win the round.

Super flyweight John ‘Scrappi’ Ramirez (14-1, 9 KOs) defeated southpaw Ephraim Bui (10-1, 8 KOs) by ten-round unanimous decision for the vacant NABF champion.
In the first round, Ramirez supported Bui throughout the round. Bui suffered a cut on his right eyelid in the second round from a clash of heads, but did enough to get the better of Ramirez. In the third round, Bui did well again, defeating Ramirez.
In the fourth round, blood was running down the face of Bui’s right eye. In the fifth round, Ramirez landed several lead rights to Bui’s chin.
In the sixth round, Bui outboxed Ramirez. In the seventh round, Ramirez outplayed Bui. In the eighth round, in the final seconds, Ramirez hit Buia hard in the chin, knocking his head back.
In the ninth round, Ramirez hit Bui with a right to the chin halfway through the round. In the tenth and final round, in a close fight, Bui had his best round, flying Ramirez.

Super Feather Victor Morales I (20-0-1, 10 KO) stopped Ivan Guvarrado (16-3-1, 6 KO) at 0:1 in the eighth round of the planned ten rounds.
Morales cut Guardado’s right eyelid in the second round. In the third round, Guardado came back with a left hook to the chin, injuring Morales in the first minute. Morales made it to the bell.
In the fourth round, Guardado bounced back well enough until the final seconds when Morales landed a left hook to the chin, nearly dropping him and forcing him to hold. In the fifth round, Guardado came back holding on.
Morales’ right eye was closed by Guardado’s jabs in the seventh round. In the eighth round, referee Ray Corona called a doctor to the ring, who examined the eye and ordered a stoppage.
Super bantamweight Jorge Chavez (13-8, (8 KOs) defeated Ruben ‘El Manichi’ Dario Cazer, 12-4 (4 KOs) by unanimous decision over eight rounds.
The referee was Rudy Barragan. The scores were 80-72, 80-72 and 80-72.
Lightweight Ricardo Ruvalcaba (13-0-1, 10 KOs) defeated Jabin Cholet (10-2, 8 KOs) by unanimous decision in eight rounds.

Super Bantam Gael ‘El Terrorista’ Cabrera (6-0, 4 KOs), KO’d Garen ‘Hellboy’ Diagan (10-7, 5 KOs) at 2:59 of the second round on the 6th.
In the second round, Diagan went down, forcing referee Rudy Caribano to stop without a count.
Lightweight Joshua ‘El Amerikano’ Garcia (9-1, 4 KOs) was knocked out by Uhlices Avelino-Reyes (3-1, 2 KOs) in the second round of a scheduled six-rounder.
In the first round, he lost to Avelino-Reyes with an 8 count by referee Chris Leben. In the second lap, Avelino-Reyes crashed for the second time, forcing Laben to retire.
Super Lightweight Javier Meza (1-0, 1 KO) knocked out David Music (0-2) at 2:58 of the first round of a scheduled four-rounder.
In the first round, Muzik went down, forcing referee Chris Laben to stop.
