Water from a main break spilled onto streets near Arlington Station and the Boston Public Garden on Friday.
The Boston Water and Sewer Commission alerted people to a leak in the area of 364 Boylston St. between Arlington and Berkeley streets in one posts to X at 1:16 p.m
Water flooded the streets, causing heavy traffic on the congested street, WCVB-TV informed
Water also flooded an MBTA station construction site at that intersection, according to the news station. The entrances to the station were already closed for construction.
A traffic and holdup report was not immediately available to Mass511.
