Bakhram Murtazaliev asked his followers today if they want him to face him “Monster” Terence Crawford is next, and many answered yes. However, they doubt Crawford (41-0, 31 KOs) will want to fight the undefeated Murataliev (23-0, 17 KOs) after what he did to former WBO 154lb champion Tim Tsziu on October 19th.

Crawford would never agree to fight Muratali without Turki insisting on facing him. If he doesn’t want to get to 168 to prove himself against killers in that weight class to deserve a fight against Canelo, then he should fight once or twice.
Murtazaliev is who Turki should negotiate for Crawford to fight because the Nebraska native’s recent performance, or lack thereof, against former WBA 154lb champion Israil Madrimov on August 3 has shown he is incapable of moving up two weight classes to fight against Canelo with 168. .
A better test would be to put Crawford in with Murtazali and see how he fares against the King of the Division. Casuals think Crawford is the king of the 154 lb division. But he definitely isn’t. Turki, just throw Crawford with Muratali, like he’s feeding a shark, and watch the madness.
Fans who can remember it believe that Terence received too much praise for his victories against Errol Spence and Sean Porter. Those are Crawford’s best wins with Madrimov out of the equation.
His last performance against Madrimov showed that he is just an average fighter in this weight class and will have losses when he goes up against Muratali and other top fighters with talent. Madrimov would have beaten him if he had let go of his hands. He showed Crawford too much respect and spent most of the contest feinting but not throwing.
IBF junior middleweight champion Bakhram knocked out Tsziu (24-2, 17 KOs) four times before scoring a third-round TKO at Caribe Royale Orlando, Orlando, Florida. Referee Chris Young waved it off at 1:55 after Tsziu’s corner threw in the towel.
