Boxing superstar Gervonta “Tank” Davis (30-0, 28 KOs) is set to return to the ring as he prepares to defend his WBA lightweight world title against world super-featherweight champion Lamont Roach (25-1 -1, 10 KO) on Saturday evening March 1, 2025.
This PBC Championship vs. Champions will take place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York and will be broadcast live on Amazon Prime pay-per-view. Davis plans to have another successful title defense and remain undefeated, while his opponent, Lamont Roach, will look to pull off a major upset.
Gervonta Davis and Lamont Roach have a bit of history as they have met twice in the amateurs. Both fights were competitive, but in the end Davis was victorious on both occasions.
