In the main rematch, WBO World Interim Super Featherweight Champion Oscar Valdez was knocked out by defending former WBO World Light Heavyweight Champion Emmanuel Navarrete in the sixth round on Saturday night in a rematch at the Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona.
In a co-feature, WBO World Light Heavyweight Champion Rafael ‘El Divino’ Espinoza stopped former WBO 126-pound champion Robeisi Ramirez (14-3, KO) in the sixth round.
Valdez, 32-3 (24), stopped Navarrete 39-2-1 (32) at 2:46 of the sixth round on the 12th.
In the final seconds of the first round, Navarrete landed a right to the side of Valdez’s head, dropping him 8 points by referee Raul Caiz, Jr. In the second round, Navarrete used his long range punches with Valdez on the defensive.
In the closing seconds of the fourth round, Navarrete landed a right uppercut to the chin, dropping Valdez for 8 points to Ref Caiz, Jr. the messenger of Valdez, who at the same time landed on the right.
In the last thirty seconds of the sixth round, Navarette landed half a dozen punches while Valdez countered with only a few as Navarette left Valdez on the left side of the body (liver), while Ref Caiz, Jr.
In the Co-Feature rematch, WBO featherweight champion Rafael ‘El Divino’ Espinoza, 26-0 (22), stopped Robeisi Ramirez, 14-3 (9), of Las Vegas, NV, at 0:12 of the sixth round .
The first four rounds were close, with Ramirez holding a small lead. In the fifth round, Espinoza backed up Ramirez throughout the round, although Espinoza’s elbow damaged Ramirez’s right eye. In the sixth round, Espinoza landed a right to the right eye, causing Ramirez to raise his hands and walk away, prompting referee Chris Flores to stop. Ramirez later claimed to have double vision.
WBO Super Light champion Lindolfo Delgado, 22-0 (16), stopped Jackson ‘El Fenix’ Martinez, 22-4 (10), in the fifth round of 10.
In the first rounds it was all Delgado. In the fifth round, Delgado had Martinez in trouble, causing referee Wes Melton to stop the fight.
2021 Olympic silver medalist and reigning junior heavyweight champion Richard Torrez, Jr., 12-0 (11) stopped Isaac ‘Dargo’ Munoz, 18-1-1 (15) at 0:59 of the third round on the 8th.
In the third round, Torrez broke down Munoz and was defenseless when referee Raul Caiz, Jr. stopped the fight.
Super featherweight Albert ‘Chop Chop’ Gonzalez, 12-0 (7), defeated Gerardo Antonio Perez, 12-7-1 in eight rounds of action.
In the first four rounds of action, Gonzalez outpointed Perez in all solid rounds. In the fifth through eighth rounds, Perez fought but was unable to get the better of the impressive Gonzalez.
Judge Tony Zaino scores twice 80-72, 79-73.
Super flyweight, Steven ‘Kid Dynamite’ Navarro, 5-0 (4) stopped Gabriel ‘Gabbi’ Bernardi, 7-2 (3) at 0:29 of the second round of 6.
In the second round, Navarro landed a combination that dismissed Bernardi by 8 points by referee Raul Caiz, Jr. Seconds later, the southpaw’s right cross dropped him for the second time. The combination sent Bernardi out for the third time, and referee Raul Caiz Jr. refused.
South Welterweight Giovanni ‘Golden Cock’ Santillan, 32-1 (17) defeated Lawson’s Fredrick ‘General’ O’Kun, 30-5 (22) over ten rounds.
In the first round, Santillan dominated Lawson. Between rounds, Lawson’s corner marked the stoppage.
Light heavyweight Art Berera, Jr., 7-0 (5) stopped Juan Carlos Campos Medina, 4-2 (3) at 2:58 of the second of the sixth.
In the second round, Berrera left Medina defenseless, causing referee Wes Melton to stop the fight.
Super Light Heavyweight DJ ‘The War Machine’ Zamora, 14-0 (9), defeated Roman Ruben Reynos, 22-5-2 (10) in 6 rounds.
Lighter Cesar Morales, 0-1 (0) lost by majority vote to Kevin Mosquera, 3-0 (1), in 4 rounds
