A total of 18 independently owned stores and farms participate in this central Massachusetts holiday rite of passage. Entrants are eligible for 19 prizes, including a prize package worth $900 according to Yankee. To participate, you must have your own Country road holiday tour Stamp card stamped at all 18 stops.

What can you expect from this holiday party? For starters, more than 4 million lights, singing with animatronic penguins and a conversation with The Man himself at Santa’s Barn, according to Yankee.
The Festival of the Sea of Trees | Dec. 1, 5, 6, 7 and 8, Salisbury, Mass.
The tide goes out at this annual festival at the Blue Ocean Event Center, featuring indoor ice skating, character visits and glowing trees. The Festival of the Sea of Trees is a fundraiser for the non-profit Salisbury Beach Partnership and the Salisbury Beach Carousel and Pavilion, according to Yankee.
12 Christmas dining series of chefs | 8, 15 and 22 December | Cambridge, MA
According to Yankee, “a cavalcade of top culinary talent is coming to Geppetto this December.” You can reserve a seat for one of three special dinners, each with four chefs. Or you can book all three for maximum enjoyment 12 Christmas cooks in all its culinary glory.
